For years I've had air freshener dangling from the windshield rear view mirror of my vehicle. No more.
The other day I was rereading a Bicycling mag article about vehicle-bike collisions and their consequences. One collision that left a California cyclist paralyzed and brain damaged involved a car where the rear view mirror was hung with strings of pearls.
Can something like that obscure a driver's view of a cyclist? Too much risk that it can, so I took my air freshener off.
